@drew I think I was after f.dm since 10 years but someone simply parked it and wanted an absurd amount of money for it. About three weeks ago I realized via whois, that it isn't registered anymore and with the help of INWX (my favorite registry) I was able to purchase it.
Wild! Must have been a name that was purchased when .dm went live, and then has never expired. When the .ly TLD dropped, I grabbed qx.ly for my old app Quixly. Sadly, I must have let it expire years ago, and now you can't register .ly domains that are less than 3 characters.
